Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using HouseSynq or any SynqBoard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

HouseSynq provides users with household dashboard tools, including shared calendar display, announcements, chore tracking, and related household coordination features.

User responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of content added to your SynqBoard.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of administrative credentials.
• You are responsible for determining whether your board is displayed in a shared or visible location.
• You may not use HouseSynq for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

Connected accounts and calendar data

If you connect Google Calendar or provide an iCal or ICS feed, you authorize HouseSynq to retrieve and display that calendar information within your SynqBoard. HouseSynq is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or continued availability of third-party calendar services or feeds.

Board visibility and shared displays

SynqBoards may be used on wall displays, shared tablets, or other household screens. By using the service, you acknowledge that information shown on a board may be visible to household members, guests, or others who can access that display or board URL.

No warranty

HouseSynq is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HouseSynq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising out of or related to the use of or inability to use the service.

Termination

HouseSynq may suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these Terms, to protect the service, or to comply with legal obligations.

Changes to the service or terms

HouseSynq may modify the service or these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of residence of the operator of HouseSynq, without regard to conflict of laws principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
